Link link link field field field link link link… that’s pretty much how my evening went. 17 portals, 41 links, 35 fields and a little over 56k AP for just the linking and fielding (I’d already captured everything). Only about 2200 MUs, ’cause it’s mostly in the middle of nowhere. Put 56 miles on the truck and probably confused the heck out of the local PD, who kept finding me parked in odd places in the middle of the night.

Oh yeah… and I levelled up to L7 about halfway through the process. 😀

Thanks! It was a lovely way to avoid the things I really should have been doing this evening.

Nice work Agent. Keep it up you’ll hit 8 before you know it. As for LEOs I use the “its called ingress it’s a game on my phone like a cross between geocaching and capture the flag” then let them ask questions from there. Just be respectful and it shouldnt be a problem. Just don’t say things like “I’m just here to blow up the water tower.” Honest to god quote of what a local frog told a cop when he pulled up on him stiing at the water tower in some little farm town north of Lafayette. The same cop stopped a local resistance agent later that night and told him the story.

LOL!! I haven’t gotten stopped/questioned yet… I just get the raised-eyebrow “what, you again??” look from the local guys (they know me… I’m on the fire department). I have my “It’s kinda GPS-enabled Capture The Flag” speech ready to go, though… I’m sure I’ll need it one of these days.

Now that I think about it, the local guys are probably glad I’m playing the game. It causes me to drive much slower than my normal flirting-with-disaster speeds…

I’ve been trying! I really wanted to recruit some of the local EMTs, then I thought about the possibility of portal-hacking via ambulance and it seemed like a bad idea…

Yep… all by myself, all within about seven miles of my house. The busy end is all in my tiny little town, making it easy to farm for the necessary sets of keys.
